Yes, that's right. I'm finally back to blogging. It's been a little over a month since my last blog post and moving out of home. It was pretty hectic at the beginning as you would assume, but I've now settled in and the internet is finally up and running. Unfortunately, as soon as the internet was installed, I had the devastating news that my Mac Book Pro incurred water damaged, which would cost me an arm and a leg to fix. I decided that I might as well buy a new laptop (tossing up between another Pro or Air) as fixing it would cost roughly the same, but for now I'm using my boyfriend's desktop.
But that's enough about me - let's dive into the haul! My friend recently traveled to Hawaii and of course I asked her pick me up a few bits and pieces I've had my eye on for a while now. I'm kicking myself I didn't give her a longer list but at least Sephora is finally coming to Australia at the end of the year (yay!).
I will be doing reviews about these products in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned for more detailled posts. For now, let's just sit back and enjoy the photos - also, I'm loving the lighting at my new place. The temperature of these photos are a little too warm for my liking but other than that I do like the quality. I would love your input if you think I should keep taking photos in this area or should I opt for somewhere else e.g. Is the carpet too distracting?
It was quite hard to choose which products I actually wanted to test out first, and then when I finally decided on the products it was torture to choose a specific shade. I was also tossing up between the NARSissist Palette or the LORAC Pro Palette - but opted for the NARSissist palette as it's limited edition, therefore I always have the chance to pick it up at a later date.
I ended up purchasing an Hourglass Ambient Light Blush in Diffused Heat, Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Flush and MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20. My friend also bought me an EOS lip balm as a bonus treat as well.
All together I think it cost around $170 - which is quite a steal if you calculate how much these products would have been if they were bought in Australia. If my calculations are correct these products (not including the Tarte Blush as it's not available in Australia) would have totaled $197. So there's a total savings of $27 plus an extra Tarte Blush on top!
I hope you guys enjoyed my quick haul and let me know which products you'd like to see a review of first.
Here's getting back into blogging!
