Review + Giveaway: Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Daily Face Wash

As most of you may have heard, Clearasil has recently designed a new Daily Clear Vitamins & Extracts Range. This new collection is formulated to help the many women out there who 'work hard and play hard' to achieve and maintain better looking skin even though there is less salycilic acid than other Clearasil products.  I was quite interested to give this daily face wash and mask a go as Clearasil has always been a brand I return to. Whenever I'm having a really bad skin week (which is often) I will resort back to my Clearasil Rapid Action Cream Wash to work it's magic.

If you've ever used any Clearasil products before you will know that their products are a little on the abrasive side where your skin feels extremely 'cool' or stripped from moisture. That was one aspect of Clearasil products that I detest, fortunately enough this avocado and pomegranate wash is much more mild and smells heavenly. It makes your skin feel uber soft and yet clean at the same time.

I think this product would be suited to those with really sensitive skin as this is a very mild, yet effective wash. Unfortunately, when I did test out this wash/mask I had a very bad case of the flu (including a horrible fever, and thus lack of posts lately!) which resulted in having a small patch of breakouts. Now, I'm not 100% certain the reason for the breakouts (flu or new face wash), but it clear up within a few days and now my skin looks more healthier than before!

A few downsides involved with this wash/mask duo is that it dispenses far too much product one needs to use at a time. After using it for a week and a half I think I've used about 1/3 of the bottle! Another aspect that bugged me is that it did feel a little too creamy and therefore didn't lather up as much as other washes. Obviously this didn't affect the overall results (as I really did enjoy using this wash/mask) but I personally love when face washes (even body washes) lather up as I feel as though they are cleansing my skin more thoroughly.

I would love to try this as I really enjoy the multi use products as you can wash your face then leave it on to let the mask do it's magic! I also really like using more gentle cleansers in the morning, but this one sounds good as it is still helping the skin in the breakout area!

With sensitive skin it's difficult to find a mask that's gentle, and I do love multi-purpose products. :)

I'd love to try this as I find, as a woman in my 30's it is taking me twice as long to look half as good! I'd love to try this to see if it calms and controls my skin's brreakouts
