NOTD: China Glaze First Class Ticket & Essence The Huntsman

I don't know why, but lately I've been loving top coats. Whether it's glitter or a holographic foil top coat I just can't seem to get enough of them! But hey, can you really blame me? Sparkliness just makes everything look more fancy and fun.

Essence's The Huntsman has most certainly been one of my most worn polishes this past summer. I'm pretty sure I've worn it at least 7 - 8 times in the past three months, which is a lot considering my nail polish collection is continuous growing. However, in stating this I don't think I've ever written a NOTD post about it yet! Luckily I'm posting about it now.

The Huntsman is beautifully crafter topper consisting of large and small gold glitter flecks. Although in this manicure I have actually packed on the topper (about 2-3 coats) the consistency of The Huntsman is actually quite thin to give you a light dispersion of gold glitter.

I find that The Huntsman topper is also quite versatile as it would look fanatic on any nail polish shade. Whether you're looking for the sweet innocent look (pastels/light) or dark and vampy nails (dark) The Huntsman will bring a touch glamour to any manicure.

Oh and apologies for the terribly lit and blurry photos. I think I was in quite a rush when I was taking the photos! I'll take better photos next time - I promise!

  2. Your nails remind me of a constellation of stars! The Huntsman topper is beautiful, I love the gold flecks of glitter. Lately I haven't been using any toppers but my go-to polish at the moment is Revlon's Popular, a pretty pale pink with silver glitters dispersed throughout :)

  3. So pretty! I have gold glitz at home, but I've never thought of pairing it with a non-creme finish base! Must try!
