Although I'm a big fan of Australis make-up products, I never dipped a toe into their nail polish pool before ..until now. A couple of weeks ago I got my hands on one of their most famous polishes: 'speck-tacular'.
Speck-tacular is an amazing 'holographic light reflecting foil top coat' that makes any manicure look out of this world - literally. Although I've only tried it with Rimmel's Knight Flight (because Australis recommends using it over black/dark shades as it is more visible) I'm sure it would look just as lovely on lighter and brighter shades.
As you can see from the photos the Speck-tacular is made up of different sized light reflecting foil flakes. As you can see from my photos these deceiving transparent pieces turn to reflect colours of green, blue, yellow and oranges in the light. I did have to use about 2-3 coats of this top coat to achieve this large amount of reflects - when I just applied one it wasn't noticeable enough for my liking.
This is definitely one of the most beautiful top coats I've seen (along with Essie's LuxeEffects collection top coats) and costs only a mere $8 (or less, considering there are always sales on Australis cosmetics).
Have you tried any amazing top coats lately?
