So a couple of weeks ago, my sister told me that her Essie order from OzSale finally arrived. Once I heard the news, I immediately told her (more like demanded her) to let me borrow them, haha. She ended up grabbing 5 bottles - one of which I already had. This meant I had to choose out of 4 which one I should use, and because I couldn't decide which one I liked the best, I ended up wearing three different pastel colours in one go.
I've always wanted to try Bikini So Teeny so I used this shade the most frequently in this NOTD. This is the perfect creme finish bluebell shade. There are slight glitters that are visible in the bottle but does not translate on to the nails, which I'm actually quite glad as the glitters would have made it look a tad tacky.
Essie's Nice is Nice a gorgeous pastel lavender shade. Out of all the lavender polishes I've tried, this is definitely my favourite one so far - the creme finish is perfect! It is a bit on the cooler side and slightly blue toned.
And lastly Essie's French Affair is a soft bubblegum pink with a creme finish. This polish is also more cool toned, but I find that it will suit a majority of skin tones.
Both Nice is Nice and French Affair were very easy to apply with minimal streaking. However for Bikini So Teeny, I found that it was quite patchy/streaky so I had to use 3 coats to make sure none of the patches would be visible. That was a little disappointing, but thankfully the end product turned out okay.
Overall, I love the combination of all three shades together - it kind of puts me in a 'feel-good' kinda mood. I certainly cannot wait to borrow these again from my sister, as they are perfect for spring/summer! Let me know what your favourite Essie polish is at the moment, I would love to know!
